Finally, “outside” is opening back up! Austin is known for being a dog-friendly city overall. We wanted to share a few spots around town that are pretty cool and guaranteed to add to summer fun to you and your dog’s life.

1.Yard Bar

These guys have an Off-Leash dog park as well as a menu for your pups!

This is the perfect spot to meet up with friends and give your dog a chance to connect and make friends too! You can do this all while enjoying some fresh air and great food!

2. The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co.

It is the perfect place to meet up with friends, have some drinks and bring your dog along to hang out on the patio with you. If you’re planning to enjoy the music, be sure your dog is comfortable with loud sounds.

3 Cosmic Café & Beer Garden

Coffee lover? Beer lover? The tranquil atmosphere and all-around good vibe lover? Dogs are always welcome while you enjoy drinks, food trucks, the Biological Pond, and more! Visit their site to read all about their story and the other cool things they have to offer.

4. Blue Hole Park

Texas heat is on the way, which means most of us want to flock towards the water. This is a Georgetown-based location. Bring your family, friends, and dog for some outside playtime in the water!

5. Dog House Drinkery

More fun uniquely created for dogs and their owners. They have lots of activities for adults and dog parks for both big dogs and smaller pups.  Visit their site for the event schedule as well as dog park rules.

This list is just for starters. A quick google search will render plenty of results geared towards whatever part of town you reside in. Be sure to check out their websites or social media for rules like if your dog needs to be on a leash or not. You could even make a quick phone call to inquire. We hope that this helps get you started to have a fantastic summer full of fun with your 4-legged companions. We would love it if you’d post and share your experiences with us!
